My time, like yours is probably thin, so perhaps I'm missing something...
But what we have here is a game that has released, you can play it now... but there is also a kickstarter going on for it at the same time. I have to be missing something, because this is like blowing and sucking at the same time. I see... it's for more features to a released game, what will they think of next? |

| Consoles? I owned two: a Pong clone and an Atari 2600. And that's it. |

See? All those people who are so negative about Kickstarter, and who keep going "Nothing ever launches," here's your proof. It launched BEFORE the Kickstarter was over!
Anyway, errr... so if the Kickstarter is succesful, the added features... will be patched in later, or something? And so they couldn't have done this without Kickstarter money?
And if you consider it just a type of pre-order, the game is free to play? So why pre-order it?
Something smells pretty fucking awful about this.

He should do a game called "American McGee's American McGee Makes A Game (A Game By American McGee)". It's about this guy (we'll call him Ajerican McPhee) who travels around the world, attaching his name to various games, in an effort to create a brand. As soon as Ajerican finishes one game, he's off on another quest, to attach himself elsewhere and brand yet another product in his likeness, usually featuring establish characters he had no hand in creating. Such possibilities include:
"Ajerican McPhee's Hump-tay Dump-tay" - a wise cracking egg (ha!) in the hood, voiced by Greg "Shock G" Jacobs!
"Ajerican McPhee's Tharee Badass Piggies" - a coop game where you and two friends go hunting!
"Ajerican McPhee's Watership Down" - an exciting RPG, with rabbits and superpowers!
