OK, that is broken. I wasn't sure but I thought you were referring to bugs in all versions of CK2 which surprised me - there was certainly cosmetic and balance issues but it's been very well supported and is now in great shape. Hopefully the Linux version will receive the same love.

Nope. Still unplayable. What bugs? Bugs with the Linux version, or in CK2 in general? He probably deems the game unplayable since it doesn't simulate the lice in your king's hair piece. There's probably a mod for that, check Paradox's forum. I expect to find lice there. Heheh It's no big deal. I'm having problems running CK2 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS running Unity on my new i7 laptop with HD Graphics 4000/GeForce GT 610M. Running it vanilla with HD4000 doesn't work and adding "optirun %command%" or "primusrun %command%" doesn't help.
What happens is that the game launches but freezes on optirun/primusrun. On Intel it launches but I cannot click on any of the "choose your language" buttons which show up.

This is an interesting development. I guess it's true: If you build it (Linux Steam) they will come.

Nice to see more commercial Linux games appearing, I actually just finished updating to the latest Ubuntu LTS finally so maybe I'll give gaming on Linux a go again.
