I may be losing out in my literal cold war with MrsBlue over grilling rights. You may recall I am attempting a strike to gain the right to put my man-stove on the deck for general convenience, but in particular to be more accommodating in the winter. She's holding firm on her resolve, and I may be the first one to blink on this and resume using the grill where it is before the spring breaks. I feel so weak.

What exactly is MrsBlue's bone of contention here? It's not like the grill is unattended. It's only on when you're cooking and off the rest of the time. I, and everyone I know, have had BBQs on decks for decades with nary a problem.

The entire point of HL2CM *is* the models. The textures/soundtrack reworking are supplemental stuff.

Honestly though what HL2 really needs is a big fat world geometry poly increase because all the shiny character models and textures in the world don't cover up how flat HL2 looks these days.

Those two science stories are directly related. Military exo and endo skeletons are restricted by energy requirements. There's just no battery powerful enough to drive them.

Blue, perhaps you could explain your predicament further? You have a standing grill, correct? Is it gas? Charcoal?

I was all ready to come to your defense, but then I read that grills cause 8,600 fires per year in the USA, most of those involving gas grills. Which is a lot more than I would have thought.

As a person who cannot cook, you are more then welcome to come grill on my patio ANY TIME YOU WANT. But I do ask for the occasional steak grilled with enough garlic seasoning to kill a small child... or two. Also the Portal Song is awesome.
