Out of the Blue

The BlueTower is filled with the smell of meatloaf, as MrsBlue is cooking some food for football watching. I know not everyone is a fan, but I don't know what could be bad about a loaf made of meat, and MrsBlue's is excellent.

P.S. My grandma is 94 years old, still kickin and loving meatloaf. I still love her too.

Congrats! I have a grandfather tuning 90 in a few weeks. I think we're all surprised how well he's doing (he had a close call about 5-6 years ago, but bounced back) but he's still going.

Ditto for my grandparents on my father/dad/pa's side. However, my grandma on the other side isn't with her terminal cancer and almost EOL.

No more meatloaf... My grandma moved in with my family for a year and insisted on having meatloaf every Thursday. So we had meatloaf every Thursday for a year. I swore to never again have meatloaf.

I have had meatloaf three times since that happened 20 years ago. It might take another 20 before I am ready to have more.

And when asked for the secret of her longevity, grandma Dapperdanman said, "meatloaf once a week!"

I <3 meatloaf as long as it is soft (can't chew) and not spicey.

I can't say that I love meatloaf; I mean, I won't go out and order meatloaf or anything, but I won't turn down a good meatloaf for a meal either.

No one likes meatloaf. It's always either too soggy or too dry, too much of one thing or not enough of it. I don't think I've ever met a meatloaf I've liked. Probably the closest was someone - this was forever ago - made mini-meatloafs in one of those mini-loaf pans and I seem to recall it wasn't bad.

Is this proof enough yet that Cutter wears the crazy pants around here?

No, it's just proof I'm one of the few with good taste. Whatever, you go ahead and enjoy your sawdust laden peasant food.

Everyone loves one kind of meatloaf. Or they're dead inside...

Zoologger: The first solar-powered vertebrate.

Meh, crappy title. This might be the first time where a vertebrate takes food from a plant directly in the form of sucrose, but lots of vertebrates get energy from the sun. That's why most reptiles amphibians sun themselves.

Yes, soggy Meatloaf sucks. But have you seen him in concert live? Much better than homecooked!

Not a fan of either the food or the group.

No one likes meatloaf, until they've had good meatloaf. My mother's is excellent. Between that and her baked chicken, I could probably eat those two meals 28 days out of every month (gotta have some pizza!).
Truth is brutal. Prepare for pain.
