I think my problem with tablet gaming is that there are few games I want to play in a semi-mobile state in that form factor. When you get up to a 10" screen I'd find myself just wanting a proper desktop or television instead. I'd rather use a 3DS for traveling gameplay or whatever and something else the rest of the time. This sort of thing is a neat idea but it doesn't seem to sit comfortably in either world.

And a pretty unreasonable price for the $250 controller dock too... I don't think they'll get much sales, unless they change their name to iPad Edge which won't be happening.

I remember the iRiver MP3 CD player. Bought one for a few hundred and never really used it... then hdd/flash-based players started becoming affordable and then I got all disappointed.

That would be the diff in viewpoint between someone with the apple buying mindset (willing to pay extra for overpriced stuff) and someone looking for a decent deal.

For the specs though, it doesn't sound too bad. Nowhere near as overpriced as apple. I doubt I would ever get such a thing, I'm more into $400 laptops. My gaming machine is my desktop.
