All these are the sorts of things for which KS was intended. It's the SPIRIT of the thing that matters.
Those are some pretty awesome projects. If I had an acre of land, I'd get that seed planter, no question!
I'd like to point out that there's probably 0% overlap between someone who would fund the projects you mentioned and someone who would fund Akaniero, so there's probably no funding lost. And most people on KS aren't fools, as evidenced by completely unfunded projects like this free game maker and the Black Isle silliness. If Akaniero gets funded, it will be b/c people felt the project has potential. Personally, I don't like what A McGee makes, so I won't be funding this, but I'd hate for KS to be limited in any way. |
