Haha, fair. But the phrase would say "You couldn't save him" and I'd expect "Listen, man, there was nothing you could do. You couldn't save him, so stop blaming yourself." Instead it was "You're a worthless ass who can't do anything right. You couldn't even save that guy when he was desperate for help right in front of you. You're hopless and just going to get us all killed."

Ultimately not as different as I may have hoped, but still pretty damn good. It's a bit obvious that people you can choose life or death for won't have much of an impact going forward, but they still tie those loose ends well.

As a whole yeah, it was definitely nice that you had characters you cared about, particularly Clem, who makes you super protective.

The only real flaw I found was that sometimes the phrase of dialogue you had to choose was a bit misleading, where I thought something may be said calmly but was instead said accusationally and led to the conversation not going where I intended.

That happens to me all the time in real life lol

Well although the end result is the same, i'm suprised at just how different 2 play experiences can be with taking different charactors with you

For sure. A friend of mine was dudebros with Kenny while we were constantly at odds during my playthrough, it was a totally different experience.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the TellTale TWD series, characters you can actually give a shit about in videogame for a change. A lot of genuinely interesting situations without a clear resolution. I'm happy the choices in the game change the narrative impact rather than changing courses entirely, I don't think branching would have worked well here.
