So Ubisoft is eyeing THQ assets. Guess what? Now that they've filed Chapter 11, so are pretty much everybody else (whether they'll publicly admit it or not).
Honestly, I think Ubisoft is more trying to make a play for some of THQ's licenses than anything, which THQ would likely be more than happy to unload - while a few are profitable, on balance they've been the millstone that ground THQ down into oblivion (that being said, at the right price it could be a win-win for both parties - THQ is without those recurring costs, and Ubisoft could acquire them for less than they likely would in the traditional negotiating process, thereby making them potentially profitable for them). |

| NOT good news. THQ wised up and began using Steamworks for their releases. If Ubsioft obtains their old properties they will saddle all of the games with the Uplay crap. It's not horrible; certainly better than Origin and GFWL, but in a world with Steam it's utterly pointless. |

| I've disliked Ubisoft for such a long time... I can't believe they're still around, let alone successful. Oh, well. |

| I own way more THQ games than Ubisoft. Which says...something. I dunno. I do know I am not buying anything else requiring Uplay. |
