I don't think that game is even available on Steam, it must be Origin key.
It's the install files. You download everything from Amazon, but then after installing it it will undoubtedly connect to Origin, yeah.

That's the price I was waiting for, thanks for the heads up! And yeah, Amazon doesn't give two shits about EA's whining about "devaluating IP." It's not as if Syndicate could be any more devaluated anyway.

Syndicate isn't, but if you scroll down the product page for digital games on Amazon it will usually list Steamworks as a requirement in their spec table. |

It says one is both.
Includes both: VGA and original version of Quest for Glory 1.
And while I would prefer everything, I believe this is a fan made update of 2?
edit: And I didn't remember an official remaster of 2, but it has been decades...
