Humble THQ Bundle

The Humble Bundle Website announces THQ is the subject of their latest bundle, though this AAA game specialist is far from the humble indie usually featured in these flexibly priced packages. Some proceeds can be assigned to benefit Child's Play and/or the American Red Cross, and the promotion will run for the next 13 days. Anyone willing to pay at least one dollar will get a bundle of Darksiders, Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, Metro 2033, and Red Faction: Armageddon. Those who beat the average price (currently around $5.63) will also receive a copy of Saints Row: The Third.

Hah, called this one a week ago.

Heh... I actually remember that. You want to post a link to the comment?

Over here.

Muahahaha!

When you said it then I actually remember agreeing with you at the time and expecting it would happen. Reading gaming news sites every day for over a decade gives you some kind of prediction super powers.

Nah they actually give you a second key for Saints Row 3. Which I already have, so I couldn't enter it...
*cough* does anyone want sr3? ahem.

edit: err... if for some reason you can't or won't get it for a fraction of a dollar in this bundle.

I already have most of the bundle, and what I don't have, I have no interest in...

But peeps keep talking good about SR3, so while I'm not willing to spend $6, I'd take a free copy : )

-Alamar

I don't see you in the Blue's group on Steam. You (or anyone else I guess, first come first server) can message me on Steam (Sepharo) and I'll paste you the SR3 key.

If I didn't already have everything except Darksiders, I'd pick this up. In fact, I may just pick it all up again and give everything away. (Edit, since they give Steam keys, would that even be possible if I already had almost everything? Steam doesn't give you double copies, does it?)

No can do. They only give you one key for all the games.

depends how much you want to give. I bought 3 sets for $1 each and gifted them. Then I got the full pack myself for (as was) $5.65

I only had COH (no expansions) out of this so for $8.63 I got 3 gifts and a ton of games. Ive still not played DOTA 2 either yet.

If they gave away separate keys I'd do it as they'd be nice gifts for virtually nothing, but already half the titles.

Damn, I got my hopes up for a minute that they had Linux ports of all those games available... Now, I'm a sad panda... I hope this doesn't signal a trend of HIB moving away from cross-platform games...

One key for the whole bunch except a separate key for SR3.

It might be worth mentioning that this can turn into a localised key. For example, I received one for a German version of SR3.

No way. COH is very similar to DOW 1, there is almost the same amount of base-building and you can still have big armies. DOW 2 is about having a single squad of heroes and no bases...

Agreed. It's WAY more like the first and not all that similar in function to DoW2. I think it's just a Jerykk thing though. I can't remember a time when I gave a description of a game and he didn't come in soon after and say "That's not entirely accurate..." In fact, I don't think we have ever agreed on anything in the 30 years we've been on this board together (give or take a decade).
