U.K. Sales Charts

An updated list from GfK Chart-Track reveals the 20 bestselling full-price PC entertainment titles in the U.K. for the week ending November 17th. The Sims 3: Seasons enters at number one with little fanfare (a comment on the strength of the franchise or the state of the platform?) and Call of Duty: Black Ops II is the new number two after a number two load of marketing. There's also a new sheriff in town on the all-platforms chart, where Black Ops II is number one, knocking Halo 4 out of the top spot.

The charts don't include digital distribution, which makes them effectively worthless. As for the Sims, it's a franchise typically played by those less knowledgeable about gaming and digital distribution in general, so it's no surprise to see it topping Black Ops 2.

Looking at the Steam stats it's clear that Blacks Op 2 has sold pretty well, as it is already the second most played game on Steam.
