| Essentially they got a patent on a specific type of page transition, which seems pretty silly. It's like going into PowerPoint and trying to patent one of those stupid swirly slide transitions. |

Samsung also applied for its own such page turning patent in Europe last October, and Google was granted a design patent near the end of 2010 for page turning on a "communications terminal." But I guess Google and Samsung beat them to it?
