Oddly enough for them, the only top-end Square-Enix iOS games I own were ones that got put on sale for 99 cents (FF1, FF2, and Chaos Rings).
That being said, they don't need as many sales at the $20 price point to break even, while at the same time they're taking a gamble on a combination of name recognition and high production value being enough to convince people to part with that amount of money. |
