Considering that the US is the first to criticise other countries for the way they conduct elections I think it's only fair that the US should itself be scrutinised. Voting by email is antithesis to an anonymous vote and any security breach risks the voting preferences of voters being exposed, where they could come under pressure from groups seeking to influence future elections. |
