Anyone see those "State of Decay" videos from Microsoft Studios? Looks like they took the Day Z idea and going to put it on xbox and pc next year. Not sure how I feel about that - was hoping Day Z guys would get their stuff together quickly and more stable. I've been watching War Z -- I'll probably pick that up. |

| Yeah, it would be confusing at first. But just think, you could be talking to anyone in the world and set a time for your next call/meeting/whatever and it would be so simple. None of that I'm in this time zone, you are in that time zone, but I'm doing DST, blah, blah. The gains will be well worth the initial weirdness. After a few years you'd wonder why anyone ever did it any other way. |

| Anybody can take the idea and make a game with it... There are plenty that have tried before. There's more to it, that makes DayZ as awesome and popular as it is. And anyway, the standalone version is coming out this month or next. It'll be the alpha version, but it will have so much more added and improved than the mod stands now. |
