Well I'm sorry to say the BlueTower is black thanks to Sandy. We lost power overnight, and I don't have an estimate of when to expect it to return, though historically they tend to be pretty quick at restoring electricity after outages here. Otherwise we are fine, and hope all the rest of you are equally safe. I don't picture being able to update the site through my phone, so I'm afraid I'm offline for the time being. Apologies, hopefully this will all be sorted soon enough.

Glad to hear the Blue Tower weathered the storm. My sister lives close to the city, and they had a few trees down, but nothing bad. My in-laws live on LI, and they got pounded. Garage, down. Shed, down. Fence, down. Luckily nobody was hurt and the house is mostly undamaged.

We are far enough upstate that we got some wind and rain, but nothing really bad. No power loss.
