Military shooters are so damn tired. I played very little of BF3 after it went retail.
MOH? Forget about it...
Lately I've been indulging in more off-beat shooters like Darkness 2, and other genres. The Trine 2 expansion is, for instance, incredible... just like the original game.

Are people finally starting to tire of military shooters? I'm hoping MOH's lackluster reception means yes. If EA decides to make another MOH, you can bet that they're going to try to do something new. Even CoD is starting to stray from the formula.
Also, what's with IGN's new layout? Was it designed for mobile devices or something? Huge text and pictures and tons of wasted space.

Though the last MOH was significantly worse despite being more or less the same game, so I get why it's hard to explain why it's worse. |
