Divine Space Kickstarter

This Kickstarter looks to raise $100,000 for Divine Space, a sci-fi action/RPG from indie developer Dodo Games, right on the heels of a report that Blizzard once prototyped a game in this vein. The plan is to develop a free-to-play Unity-engine game for tablets first, and to follow with versions for Windows, OS X, and Linux before turning their attention to multiplayer support.

The only game worth playing on a tablet or phone is Fruit Ninja. Everything else just feels inadequate for a touch device.

Ipad game coupled with bad F2P model = no go.
Yeah, they want people to pay for a F2P game which doesn't make sense. It looks like backing only gets you in-game credits and such.

And it's by a company called Dodo Games? I think they'll go the way of the dodo bird..

Oh, tablets first. Well, good luck with getting 100K out of those tablet users.

I give it a week before they will have changed that to "The windows version comes first!"
