I played the HELL outta the game. Put it down, and probably about time to pick it up again. Had a couple of maps I couldn't clear.

Payday is a good game, it just gets somewhat repetitive after a while.

Lasted all of an hour for our group The shooting mechanics weren't nuanced enough and most the gameplay boiled down to slaughtering waves of dudes, sometimes moving between an objective.

Payday is a good game, it just gets somewhat repetitive after a while.

All the more better for a weekend playthrough though, because you can literally play through all of it within that time, with the only downside being not getting all the weapons and advancements.

The best one is the 2nd shotgun you get around level 30, and the magnum which is badass as well, but not always the best pick when you want to be stealthy and not firing off the uber-loud handcannons.

Overall definitely worth a try, but I cant help but think about how much better this would have turned out with proper modding tools so the community could create and share scenarios of their crafting.. that would have made what is already a good game into something very legendary, indeed.

The somewhat non-linear branching missions mostly work and keep the experience fresh for multiple playthroughs on each level, as well as the different ways you can initiate the heists in the first place.

Oh and the difficulty can be suprising at times too.. especially on levels like Heat Street, where normal difficulty is harder than some levels on hard.

Wow I didn't intend to write a review here lol but since I did: 7.2/10 ^_^

Didn't we just have one of these a few weeks ago?

Yeah, this is at least the second or third one. Not that that's a bad thing - people speak highly of it.
