Steamships Ahoy - Ravaged & Demo

Steam News announces that Ravaged is now available on Steam, offering this multiplayer first-person shooter with a heavy dose of vehicular combat. A playable demo is also available, and in addition to sales of the game they offer clan packs with four copies for you and your friends. Here's the deal:

Get ready for Ravaged, an intense online multiplayer first-person shooter like no other. Ravaged is designed with a heavy focus on vehicular combat taking place on vast maps that will have you strategically duking it out on land and in air with over 40 vehicles and weapons. Placed within a competitive team-based environment created specifically for the PC, Ravaged is set in a post-apocalyptic world that was ripped apart by cataclysmic climate change.

Uh, 9/10 from examiner so you don't know what you're talking about obviously. Maybe it's not your cup of tea but there's no need to bash it.

9 posts and 6 of them are about Ravaged. I mean, I'm not usually one to jump on new posters but you should probably chill a bit on the whole "if you dont like Ravaged then ur a Wii kiddie!!!" schtick. That kind of aggressiveness from a community usually makes people want to move on and check something else out instead.

Here is me playing it for 45 minutes. SPOILER ALERT: I end up getting the high score (against the developers, no less) in the last match.

No Bots, No Buy.

Multiplayer only games are completely worthless. You completely rely on the fact that other human beings 1) buy it, 2) play it at the same time you do.

Bring back the Bot!

Some people prefer to play offline with Friends (you know, human beings we actually know in real life!)

They said it's a possibility after launch but, we'll see! But doubtful considering their previous comments about bots when they released Frontlines.

Frontlines would have been awesome LAN + Bots + Friends. Would have replaced Battlefield 2... or at least ET:QW... Brink is horrible.
