Me too, these days all of those game modes would probably be considered inane, but there was much bonding to be had when one player could move and the other had to shoot, or one could only move left and the other could only move right. |

I didn't play Yar's Revenge until years later (mid 80s) and loved it. Haunted House, Star Raiders (with's add on keypad), Night Driver...there was a lot of crap at the end, but as a whole, it was a great system for it's time.

#33 Jack Black as a kid in the Pitfall commercial. Wow I never saw that before.
I too remember playing Combat and Space Invaders on Christmas day way back...I also had Yar's revenge and the Sears Star Trek ripoff "Stellar Trek" which was actually a pretty good game. And River Raid and Pitfall. Such great memories. |
