That's a very good question... I have no idea how they construct a "monopoly" out of a freely offered ad-supported service. One that is simply better than the competition.
Google does nothing to prevent anyone from using the search engine they want.
But I think it's about search results vs paid-search results, and not the search as such. There was a huge problem lately when competitors bought ads for keywords like "Apple" where instead of apple, the sponsored link would go to Samsung (this is an example, not how it really happened).. I assume this is something that could be anti-trust related... |
