I don't even play Borderlands 2 and that whole class looks really stupid based on the skill tree calculator. Borderlands doesn't exactly strike me as the thinking mans game where you want that sort of complexity and have the time to even process it all. Her abilities probably won't even be powerful enough to justify all of that and doesn't the game have a melee guy already?

Wow, I'm surprised at how crappy some of the Ordered Chaos tree skills are. Sure there were some useless skills for the other characters (+1 grenades anyone?), but I can't think of any skills that came with such penalties. |

Given our predilection for breeding like rabbits - especially in underdeveloped countries that can least afford to do so - and our piss-poor management of resources, not to mention our seeming inability to get along with each other, it doesn't seem like the sun is going to be a problem.
If anything, we need some people off-world just in case those of us remaining decide to do something extraordinarily stupid. |

it might help reinvigorate the idea of exploring space, since it seems obvious that this is vital to the long-term survival of humanity. Heh, you have a pretty long view. Given that the sun has five billion or so years of fuel left, we have a while to get off this rock, as long as we manage our resources here (which we're not doing a very good job of doing actually). But we have to manager them right to get a viable population into space anyway, so either way we need to manage things on Earth better.
Also, I thought they already renamed Columbus Day to Discovery Day? Explorers Day is more encompassing I'll admit, but isn't it already renamed something generic? |
