It would be ok if it was released as a $20 roster update and not sold as a full game. For $50 it's questionable. For $50 and no notice on the box that it's just new rosters (and shoes) it's unbelievable.
Lets get real here: This is what EA does to all it's sports games late in a console's life. Sure they may mildly tweak a few features and change out the intro screens and annoying music to hide that fact, but essentially you're paying for last years game with an updated roster. The only thing they've done here is dropped the facade. None of the real changes are going to happen until the next gen releases because most of the development teams and money has already moved there.
I'm not saying it's "right", just that these are the facts. |
