Agreed, unfortunately publishers seem to love their shitty regional pricing/promotions. |

Either give the discount to everyone or noone. Sure I can just buy a russian key but I don't want to risk my Steam account. Just get keys that don't require a russian proxy and you'll be fine. There's always plenty of sites that sell international keys cheap without requiring a proxy unlock.

I'm curious to see what putting the voucher brings xcom down to pricewise. £21.75 / $35 ... tempting. Not sure why the EU publisher would allow but the NA publisher would not allow the discount on the same game. What gives? 2k is the publisher and the ones makign this call. And its everyone else BUT na getting discount option. For instance, austrailia, or africa, or south america, etc.
Perhaps its because the NA version is getting released a couple days early? They want to make sure that they get all the full priced sales here and don't want anything getting in the way of that? |

I sent Blue an email about this a few days ago, but sadly it didn't get picked up.
We're currently selling Zafehouse: Diaries for US$9.95 until tomorrow, which is 33% off the full price of US$14.95: http://www.zafehouse.com
If the name Zafehouse sounds familiar, it's because Diaries is the sequel to the original Zafehouse, which RPS covered back in 2008: Zafehouse 1.5: DIY Under Extreme Conditions.
There's a demo on the website, so you can check it out first. It won't be to everyone's tastes, but we've had a really good response so far. |
