Once again we it's almost always a PEBCAK error for these sorts of things. Heard a new favorite awhile back. Picnic - Problem in chair, not in computer.

So why, with the exception of maybe some necessary secure static IPs for official government communication isn't anything coming out of China or other quasi-hostile nations blocked entirely from those servers?
Because that would make sense. The better question is, why aren't they air gaping these machines from the internet? |

"This [White House Communications Agency] guy opened an email he wasn't supposed to open," the source said. Gee, what a surprise. Once again we it's almost always a PEBCAK error for these sorts of things.
"Over the past 24 months, China has been aggressively targeting America’s corporations for their intellectual property and our government agencies and departments for critical national security information," he told FoxNews.com. So why, with the exception of maybe some necessary secure static IPs for official government communication isn't anything coming out of China or other quasi-hostile nations blocked entirely from those servers?
