3DTV sales are still climbing, due to being built into nearly every set these days, but no one is using them in 3D. |

I'd say the "slow motion train wreck continues" sidenote would fit better with the 3D article, Blue.

Wasn't sure, but I thought I should be clear just in case. (After all, I'm pretty sure I'd remember saying something along those lines.) |

Of course, like Michael Pachter, being wrong doesn't serve as much of a deterrent. Don't recall ever thinking 3D would become ubiquitous... at best, I've thought that 3D-capable TVs might become ubiquitous, but that's simply an analog of the display panels getting higher refresh rates and not demand for the feature. |

Until they work out those kinks and make it as cost affordable as a 2D set I'm fine with it staying niche. The problem is 3D has been around for many decades. We still have to wear lame glasses today! We're a lot closer now, glasses-free 3D sets exist but still have their own issues like cost and viewing angle. It'll happen. But will I be able to see 3D? |

I didn't know Kodak was still around, thought they were existing on marginal income from pattens.
Not at all interested in 3D, not for games and not for watching movies. |

I didn't even know Kodak made inkjet printers. :O
I can't see 3D, with my old compound eyes, so I care not about it.
