I do at work, but I don't at home. (Sorry, Blue...) The difference between loading with ads and without is crazy. Without ads, the page will load in 1-2 seconds. With ads, it typically takes well over a minute. For every... single... page... load...
At work it still takes 20-30 seconds, but that's sorta manageable.

Too bad you can't trust adds and we can't expect the owners of sites to understand how and which adds are troublesome to users on our ends. So we all lose. My computer staying healthy is most important. Too many people out there just can't play nice and always have to stealth shit into our systems. |

IE9 might be two years old, but it gets regular updates. Chrome (and now Firefox) change version numbers with every update. Would it be fair to compare the newest versions of Chrome and Firefox to an IE9 that hasn't been updated in months? |

Funny...
This test was ran as plain vanilla, no addons - it's exactly as one would expect. Shitty IE is forced to come up to par with a noscript Firefox.
MS was forced to add this type of detection built in with their Smartfilter, application reputation, and others types of prevention functionality because of their dwindling reputation. Essentially Microsoft's homemade 'add-ons' for their crap proprietary browser.
The things that MS now built into IE 9 is no different than add-ons any savvy tech automatically load into Firefox. I don't know anyone who uses Firefox without Noscript, and nothing gets through - ever.
Maybe it'll fool some people to run their bloatware, I'm sure MS hopes so. |

Still it seems silly to test FF and Chr on anything but the most recent versions that were available at the time given that they both autoupdate and almost no one stays on old versions. Also i would have liked them to include IE8 since it's still so widely used even if it would have performed horribly. |
