You're seriously blaming Clinton for that?

Rolleyes

His admin removed the caps on telecom pricing. Oh wait I forgot, Bush's fault.

$150 in the US vs. $38 in France. That's huge. But it's always been a scam. Friend of mine working in Saudi says his cell bill is $8US per month for unlimited everything. It never ceases to amaze me how the telcos and cable cos try so hard to make it sound like we get a good deal here, and things like paying for channels ala carte and real competition are somehow bad for us.

That's what happens when you're stuffing the pockets of politicians and they deregulate caps on billing. Thanks Mr Clinton.

It's quite amazing to me that the government broke up all the Bells for being a monopoly only for them to essentially end up being the same thing we have now with only a couple major carriers owning the majority of the market. IE: Comcast, ATT, Verizon.

Man you haven't seen anything until you've lived in Canada. $150 would be a steal.

Cutter actually lives in Canada. Do I remember that correctly?

I've got to read this book. At work they cry about profits being down. If they collected even a third of that $500 billion then the US public owns the network not the corporation.
