Might and Magic: Heroes VI Patch

Accompanying today's announcement of Might & Magic: Heroes VI Gold Edition comes word on Steam of a new patch for the RTS sequel, which paves the way for the imminent Danse Macabre adventure pack among other things. There are also manual versions of the various language editions of the patch, which can be downloaded from AtomicGamer and The Patches Scrolls.

The very worst DRM of 2012. Not exaggerating. "Uplay" client only begins the hurt.

Oh shit yeah! MoM is sill one of my all time fave games. It's always boggled my mind no one has remade it or even a good knockoff of it. Microprose was such a good publisher. Someone seriously needs to kickstart that shit! I wonder who, if anyone, owns the rights to it.

James Woods: Oh that's fun. That sounds like you had a fun time. Where would I fit in with the fun time, huh? Where does James Woods fit into the fun?

Only if this is the patch that makes the game completely function without uPlay is it good news.
