| Still using and loving Firefox but I don't obsess over version numbers so /shrug. Any time I try to go Chrome it always is missing some functionality and doesn't have an extension I need. |

| Had the same thing happen. Bit of researching turned up if ya go into Options>Advanced>General Tab> Unclick Hardware acceleration, Firefox starts to play nice again. Guess one of the last updates turned that on or messed up that function. |

| Some recent update caused Firefox to crap out on me constantly by either crashing or hanging. So I finally made the switch to Chrome; so far, so good. |

Chrome and Firefox background update now, I just discovered the same thing. You can disable it if you want to do it manually. |
