It's funny you mention that. Frederik Schreiber of Interceptor Entertainment was working on an unofficial remake of Diakatana before losing interest or whatever the excuse was for cancelling. A couple years later he made another attempt at gaining fame with Duke Nukem Reloaded.
So far the ROTT remake looks good, but the people behind it do not have a good track record. |

Bethesda has been mostly hands off to id Software since they bought them. One good thing they have done is to ensure more of id's IPs get released on Steam (Quake 4 for instance).
Otherwise the parentage has been too short to say otherwise. |

I think Im going to have fun with this game, bring on more classic FPS glory!!!
Doom4 also better not be a modern, on rails or any of that new shit. I want huge levels and badass monsters, a million of them on screen at once. |
