I had one of those scam cruise lines calling me twice a day, often while I was asleep, for about a month. I always asked not to call me back, they always did.
Finally I got a woman and got very, very stern with her. Basically, I was a dick, asking her how she can accept a paycheck by scamming people into fake cruises. It was an ugly call, and became clear she was not allowed to hang up on me, which made it hysterical. There'd be silence, and me taunting her for not being allowed to hang up. Finally she either got manager's permission or had enough but she did hang up.
And the calls stopped. I wasn't overly pleased that it had to happen, but it was the 3rd call that day, after I'd requested twice the day before to have calls stopped, after having received at least 30 or 60 of those calls overall. |

Finally I had to get "NEVER CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN." on them and then they tried to give me some "it will take 30 days to---" "NO. NEVER AGAIN STARTING NOW." Did it work? For now. I haven't had a call since. This was about a month ago. |

Why sue them? Revoke their corporate charter and put them out of business if they won't behave. |
