anyone who posts in these comments that they're gonna pick this up better not be the same characters who post in other game's threads saying they can't suffer mouse lag or whatever other port issues there might be. if you can suffer something so goddamn idiotic then you just lost your "complaining about PC ports" card.
i don't mind making fixes to ports. if the game is good, fine. my amusement is the names in this thread saying they're willing to make the fix yet recalling them damning decent titles to the never buy bin over similar issues, like editing an ini setting to fix something minor like mouse lag in dead space. |

Not unexpected but what a shame
I hit a wall in the console version, and might have considered picking this up eventually to continue, but if they don't fix things then nevermind. They being the developers, not community fixes. Make an effort, christ. |

Hey, they brought one of my most wanted games ever to what is not only my platform of choice, but my only choice of platform (for a variety of reasons I won't bring up in this post), and they didn't even have to do that. But they did anyway, barebones port or not. If some bootlicking is in order, I'm fine with that.
I'm a gamer. I care about the games, not about the quality of their ports (as long as they're playable and at least as good as they were in their consoles of origin), not about the "politics" of console vs PC debates, not about anything else but the games. I just want to play the games I'm interested in, have fun with them, and make sure whoever made them gets money for their efforts. It's so simple; why complicate it? As a gamer who cares about games, I would never purchase a poor port -- sends the wrong message that it's OK to shit on PC users.
They didn't skimp making their game on the console, why throw the scraps to the PC gamers?
Now if a gamer doesn't care about frames, fov, controls, options, tweaks, patches, etc that they expect to have on even an average PC game -- then go for it I don't think anyone will fault you for enjoying it regardless. |

Someone either doesn't understand PC Gamers, or didn't care. Disgraceful. I'm pretty sure they said before it was going to be a bare bones port.. Points for honesty but that doesn't make it ok. This is about as barebones a port as they come. Exactly. I won't support these practices by giving money to these devs. Either make some minimum effort on the port or don't make it at all. |

The problem with some of these companies seems to be that to them, "PC port" means "copy the game exactly on to the PC". Which isn't what fans are really asking for when they want a game to come to the PC.
What we got here, effectively, is the PS3 version on PCs - with all the PS3 limitations still built in. I suppose for the people who don't have a PS3 (which I don't) who wanted to play this game as-is, such a port will work, but for those of us who dislike controllers, and want games to run >720p, it's fairly half-assed. |

Great game but the horrid job of a port just kills any interest I had on it. No worries; they'll blame piracy for shitty PC sales : )
