Not really a Ridge Racer game, and not really a Burnout game. I know the mainstream media thought it was a 7-8 (out of 10) game, but for me...a 5 tops.
The video I saw from TB looked fun, but I wasn't really expecting a traditional RR on the PC, to be honest...

No, it was inflated the second the gold trade on RMAH became available and was actually working properly. Everybody and their mom traded in their savings for a few cash dollars. Last I checked it was around 20 cents per 100k gold, which is what those external sources will have to undercut in order to get any business. |

Waste of money on RR, IMO. Not really a Ridge Racer game, and not really a Burnout game. I know the mainstream media thought it was a 7-8 (out of 10) game, but for me...a 5 tops. It brings nothing new to the genre and it doesn't do anything better then any of the games that came before it have done. I can get Burnout Paradise for 5 bucks and have a hell of a lot more fun with that game. Just my non-requested opinion of course.  |

I'm really enjoying it - a lot more than I initially thought I would. No pun intended, but it could very well be my sleeper pick for the year. It's not perfect, but it is damn fun. Lots of combat, lots of side quests, lots of exploring, and the story seems decent.
Total Biscuit did a good one hour preview (with minimal spoilers) if you're on the fence.
