Here's Comcast's Coming Speed, Pricing Lineup. Thanks Ant.
Most websites and services don't let you go much over a 2MB cap for downloads, so looks like I can cut my internet bill in half. Damn internet with Comcast right now is 75$.
/edit: Called them and they said those prices will probably start Jan1. They throttled me recently and I used to get a lot better speeds, but now their limiters work a lot better. bummer..

Third party utilities are using a workaround right now but Microsoft specifically disabled both the code and the group policy objects to allow Windows 8 to boot to the desktop first. Metro is tied into more than the start button too. This will doom any small chance it had at corporate adoption. And desktop like me! |
