Out of the Blue

Was doing a little poking around the archive and found a Paul Steed letter from 1997 where Paul was walking back from a little of his signature outrageousness, and noticed a tidbit that I want to share which takes on a different meaning in light of his untimely death:

To quote a song from Aerosmith: Life is a journey, not a destination.

Go for it and have a kickass trip. I'll be somewhere up ahead waiting for you.

With my roomate passing recently and me finding him after work last month, that is hard to read. But glad you shared. Hard to lose friends, easy when it is the internet and you don't have to deal with reality.....hurts when it is close to home....

Miss you BJ.

I remember back then coming to blues multiple times a day just to see .plan file updates from the guys at id. I did not understand much of the technical talk, but always read through it because of the respect I have for the writers and I always wanted to get into their minds and figure out what was coming down the pipeline..

The internet was so different back then, hahaha .plan files.. now we have facebook so every joe on the street can have his own. ^_^

Have we figured out how old he was and what the nature of his death was?
Truth is brutal. Prepare for pain.
