Coming out with Windows 8 on it.
Any idiot could have told you that (this idiot has many times.) It's pretty clear they're pushing Windows 8 onto everything under the sun. They're consolidating to one platform, one app store, multiple devices and inputs.
Does this mean a full version of Windows 8 or an RT version? Almost definitely the latter. |

I got that but was just referring to the date. Halo 1 sold the original Xbox. I didn't want a Xbox, or Microsoft, I wanted to play Halo since it was shown at Mac World, and sadly I had to pay 400 bucks to play it.
That being said, your only as good as your launch titles, and if it was me, I'd be looking at pushing Halo 4 and Forza back to be on the 720, instead of the 360, unless Microsoft still wants to keep the 360 around a bit longer and get more Xmas sales in this year.
All I ask of Microsoft is to put my damn games BACK front and CENTER when I start up my 360. I bought it as a game machine, that's it primary function, with movies being a distant second. |

That was sarcasm.  Other than Sega (with the Saturn), I can't think of a console launching with little to no notice. |
