007 Legends Voice Talent

Activison announces the voice talent for 007 Legends will include actors from vintage James Bond movies reprising their roles. In what seems like a gag, this includes Richard Kiel reprising his role as bad guy/comic relief Jaws, in spite of the fact that the character spoke a single line ("Well, here's to us") over the course of two movies. Here's word:

007 Legends will feature Daniel Craig's (SKYFALL, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Casino Royale) James Bond while Rory Kinnear (SKYFALL, Wild Target, Quantum of Solace) voices MI6's Chief of Staff, Bill Tanner. The Moonraker mission features familiar Bond actors, including Michael Lonsdale (Of Gods and Men, Munich, Moonraker) reprising his villainous role as Hugo Drax and Richard Kiel (Happy Gilmore, Moonraker, The Spy Who Loved Me) as Drax's notorious henchman - Jaws. Naomie Harris (SKYFALL, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, 28 Days Later), from this fall's feature film SKYFALL, will also make a video game appearance in 007 Legends.

Spies movies and sci-fi? What do you mean by sci-fi exactly? "Spies in space" definitely sounds like something campy from the 60's lol.

Well, some of the gadgets that movie spies use, especially many of the ones that Q would introduce Bond to for use on his missions would fall into sci-fi category. I'm okay with that. Even the sci-fi superweapons the villains would conjure up were usually pretty cool. The villains themselves and some of their henchmen though - some of them felt like they came right out kids cartoons. I liked Moonraker with its space action and laser guns, but Jaws just makes me roll my eyes.

Not because he is a fellow Australian but because he was able to show the exact same force/strength that Connery had but with his own personality and spin on the character. He successfully showed the emotional depth of Bond. Plus the movie is awesome.

I like Craig's Bond too. I love the other Bond movies, but the cheese/camp factor got a little too high at times. Craig's Bond has a better balance of suave and tough guy, and like you said, the villains (and their goals) are a bit less ridiculous.

Wow, Michael Lonsdale reprising his Hugo Drax role. That is awesome, he had one of the best voices of the bond villians. They should have got Roger Moore as Bond.
