AnointedSword wrote on Jul 25, 2012, 06:12: Calibrate with your hand on the stick? oO can't if you remove your hand to flip a cockpit switch etc, reverse effect :D.. The correct answer is that you have to have the stick "low" to floor, so that you can't "rest" your hand on it at all. But the stick has other problems, the cord constantly falls out of the stick, horrible design there.. The drivers are crap, and the centering is also a problem, a lot talk about it.. in my case removing and reinserting the plug recenters the stick... but it has problems beyond this.
The stick also just not comfortable, even with a large hand.. and the hat switches are cheap.. 2 hatswitches on the throttle are unusable, they dont give proper feedback, (false reads) press side, triggers up.. etc.. |

| I still use an X45, but I've thought about getting the X52 if I find it cheap enough. A friend of mine has the X52 and I like the lighter controls on it. The X45's controls are so stiff, it's not good to use for helicopters which require light precision movement. I do prefer the X45's rudder being on the throttle more than the twisty stick of the X52 though. |

| Seems at this point, they would have been a lot better off delaying a little bit and targeting DCS World. |

I thought this looked cool till I saw the monthly access part. The fuck? Theres tons of add tons for FSX which spiff up the graphics a lot, so I dunno what was up with this. VRS Superbug is coming out with a combat package sometime which will enable all kinds of combat functionality ontop of a kick ass FA18, why would we need this? hmm |

Shady launch is all I can say... WTF is this? What is the $50 for? Why $12 a month?
After viewing this site, wow X looks so outdated... and i can careless about graphics lol..
Seems no one is investing in Saitek parts, cuz no one supports them.. So i guess Saitek must tap into some old crap to sell more sticks....
Seems like fail to me :/
I was a sucker that bought into the X65F, took me about one day to figure outa main design flaw..
You can't rest your hand on the stick, because your putting downward pressure to the right, making your plane/chopper inputting false input..... Stay away from the x65 guys.. if you must, buy the x52
