Now we can finally get custom tailored Wal-Mart ads on Facebook!
Talking to your buddies about going on a camping trip this weekend? A full assortment of camping goods available at your local Wally-World will be plastered on the side of your page, available for pickup immediately! They can intelligently pick out what you will need for your trip based on your conversation.. and who doesn't want that kind of innovation?
Now what I'm *really* looking forward to some kind of system that can do this with my phone calls-- just monitor every one of them and send me an e-mail (or PM on Facebook, LOL) listing all the stuff I will need to buy from Wal-Mart based on that conversation. That is Utopia for me-- (to coin a term..) "Consumer Nirvana". |

On another note, what is the next thing they are going to propose, arresting people before they do something like in the Tom Cruise movie. Sorry, just like this twitter thing it is unconstitutional, of course no one cares about that in the current administration. Or the prior one... and many others before that too. Yeah lets be real the Patriot Act in the name of terrorism takes the cake.
This will blow over. To the guy who mentioned not having them maybe looked at as being odd, could be. I have both, never use either, nothing out there on either to defraud me. Sounds like my bases are covered. |

Everyone that's posted in this thread is a psycho, we're all using periods. Argh see. We're all psycho.
The population has gotten too dumb to use periods, so if you're still using them, you're an outlier. Such bullshit. |

Watch and see how they twist it around to being "abnormal" to not have Facebook and Twitter accounts. I don't have a Facebook account, so I will be abnormal. I grew up with it being drilled in my head don't release personal information on the web, combined with the fact that there is a known leap in ID fraud with people who use it (since it tends to show more information then most people understand. If not from you then by your friends.)
That and I think Mark Zuckerberg said it best "They trust me — dumb fucks". |
