PC Prototype 2 Still Coming

The Radical Entertainment Facebook page follows word of job cuts at the Activision-owned studio with news that the PC version of Prototype 2 will still be released as planned (thanks G4tv via VG247). Here's word:

Thanks again to everyone for the outpouring of support. Just a reminder that the PC version of PROTOTYPE 2 is indeed, still coming on July 24th as planned, but please understand that updates/posts to Facebook over the next few days may be a bit light as we gain our bearing after today.

Yeah...not one patch to this day. Someone else did the port though, didn't they? I'm hoping it doesn't need patching but I'm not buying day one just in case.

Have you actually looked at their FB page? There are a shitload of Prototype fans.

The other stuff is definitely true though, because they didn't even really support the first game on PC.

Already played it on PS3. If it wasn't free (Customer sold me a used copy, I played it through then sold it. Yay, perks!) I would have been pissed. Heller is an ASSHOLE. Hated him. (I know, I harp on this a lot.)

All they do by delaying the PC version is sabotage its sales.

If they're lucky, this will sell 50% of what they were hoping for. I was sort of looking forward to this game but not any more, especially not at full price. Is there even anything improved much in this one or is it pretty much just an expansion pack?
