I will gladly stick your insane ticket prices + surcharges straight up your ass for you CEO. I seriously hate your company because I am an avid concert attender and you have a monopoly on almost all venues that are bigger than 2,000 people. You mark up the price of tickets nearly 50% in surcharges + other bullshit. For a Rush concert I paid $45 but paid a total of $72 after fees. This is just one example of the many ass fuckings I was forced into. This week a Maiden + Alice Cooper concert wound up being $65 after fees when it originally cost $45. You give me 2 options basically. 1) Skip the concert 2) Force to pay obscene amounts of money for crappy seats.

Fuck you ticketmaster, fuck you. I don't normally hold hatred against anyone because hate is a very strong feeling. But fuck you ticketmaster. I hope you and all your employees die a slow and painful death. I hope all the bad things in life happen to you and nobody else but you. As Stan Marsh from South Park told the jewelry guy, "kill yourself, the only way you can pay back the thousands of people you rob is to put a gun to your temple."

PS. Also what kind of CEO comes out against his own company like this? I don't get this at all, what kind of damage control are you trying to play off? You think people will suddenly turn around and say "awww ticketmaster actually does have a heart!" No, you are a scum bag, a bottom feeding scum sucking pile of dog vomit who will wind up in the same pits of hell reserved for Bernie Maddoff.

The only people I wish "had the stones" to stick it to Ticketmaster work for the DoJ, and the FTC. False advertising and anti-competitive practices apparently stopped being actionable a few decades back.

Yea, I once bought 8 dollar tickets to a local show (the only place to get them were tx master) and the tickets ended up being 20.00 a piece after all "fees" and taxes. Never bought from them again.

Most places here in Minneapolis you can go to the source of the show and buy from them for face value. Just got tickets for the Bouncing Souls from First Ave and avoided about 8 dollars of fees per ticket on a 16.00 face value ticket.

So why hasn't someone gone after them? That is sick.

Why would a company who makes it's money on tickets encourage people to sell their tickets through other means?
I think this dude is either a little dim or might not have fully grasped what just happened.
Just trying to be a good sport about it. It's a smart move to not always play the old cranky fuck-change mega corp.
I just saw it as he was using it as an excuse to slam his competition (stubhub)...
That too.

The Grateful Dead were pioneers selling their own tickets through Grateful Dead Ticket Sales. The best seats were saved for the true fans.

Miss you Jerry!

I bought 4 tickets as soon as I got his email, so my friends and I are sitting right up in the front for $45 a piece. Awesome deal. Just compared with Jim Gaffigan who is coming to Detroit next month and just decent seats were $81 a piece.
