Indeed, when she really intended to ship it to Iran the store actually would be breaking the law to sell it to her. But more importantly, she would be committing a crime if she'd really ship it to Iran, and not just in the US by the way.
Seems to me this is a clear dual use technology, and that means she may get some serious lawsuit attached to her should she actually send it. I hope someone tells her that before she does it, because now she basically announced her intent to break the law in public. You can not get much dumber than that. |
