Government for the people my ass. Guess they need to beat the peons down a little harder so they take their medicine like good subjects in the future.

But the people don't bribe them... But that's representative democracy at it's best, right there. These clowns in politics nowadays don't represent the people, they represent the money, corporate interests and their own power hunger. As soon as people accept this the earlier we can get rid of this faux democracy.

Yeah, weppoisoned the well by sticking up for our rights. See what their thought process is, folks? If it's not what they think is right, it's bad for for everyone. Look beyond the mud and see the lies, people. Vote 'em all out!
Slow and steady might not win the race at first, until you shoot everyone ahead of you.

How dare the people influence the process of democracy? How dare they?!?!
That's not sarcasm in the halls of legislature. Otherwise there would be more than one in four dumbasses supporting their legislators.

Or is it one in ten now?

Stephanie Moore, chief counsel for the House Subcommittee on Intellectual Property

Is this another revolving door lawyer with close ties to the media industry? This is a good reason why the feds should have nothing to do with the Internet.

Political freedom can only be preceded by economic freedom which is preceded by monetary freedom.

It's simple: write legislation that benefits the PEOPLE instead of Big Media, and the PEOPLE won't give you a rash of shit.
