The rewording is shorter, more concise, and better worded. From a reader's point of view it gets the message across without immediately bringing to mind the competition - something you don't necessarily want readers/viewers to be thinking about while you're trying to sell things. That's all I'm really seeing. |

Surely they changed their advertising to avoid slamming Windows. I mean, it's not like they ran TV ads for years making sometimes tenuous attacks. They must be softening their stance towards their competitors.
Nothing to do with Mac viruses at all. Not at all.
