Out of the Blue

It took a long time to get to it, but we finally had the tree doctor in to clear up our multiple arboreal problems. To be honest, he's more of a tree executioner than doctor, but the two trees he came to remove in their entirety were already dead, and the couple of others he worked on are all the better for the removal of their broken bits, so this was all pretty surgical considering. It's also a relief, because our dead birch tree in particular was starting to look like it was going to fell itself one of these days, so we'll consider this a disaster we've managed to avert.

I always liked Enemy Mine. And speaking of film, TCM has a whole buncha monster/sci-films lined up tonight, Gojira, Rodan, etc.

Trampoline video link works for me here at home and it also did at work -- yes, it involves a powered two wheel vehicle. Enemy Mine is a so-so film at best.
Truth is brutal. Prepare for pain.

After having no clue about the name of a sci fi movie I watched about 20 years go, I stumbled upon it while going through the imdb 'recommendation' thing on the front page after countless years of highly vague Google searches.

Enemy Mines.

That arm-tentacle thing left an imprint deep in my mind and creeped me the fuck out whenever I went near sand dunes at the beach for so long...

Also, trampoline video is not working for me. Does it involve a motorcycle though?

That guy seems surprised that the trampoline broke. Why?

Because he's stupid.

DXHR Missing Link DLC on for 50% off on GMG today, which is good because I was just about to start a playthrough of DXHR.

I picked that (Missing Link) up in one of the previous sales, and played through it for the first time a couple of days ago. It had a decent length (7-9 hours, depending on how much you explore), and was a lot of fun. Highly recommended!

Had you played the main game before, Cutter? If not, you're in for a treat...

When visiting the site today, Java started and then my virus scanner notified me it blocked a Java exploit.

Left and came back and everything was normal. This was the only browser open at the time, so I assume it was an infected ad?
