| He's not actually a programmer. I think he's more of a CFO/CEO type. But yea, I agree, his acting is perfect for the game and it wouldn't be the same without him. |

| Chris Jones himself (one of the project leads) played Tex in the FMV games. it always blew my mind how decent his acting was considering he was a programmer by trade. |

Good stuff there and glad they are bringing back Tex. I think i finished 'Martian Memorandum' and I got a good way through 'Under a Killing Moon' (great game). I hope they bring back the same guy that played him in 'Killing', his delivery was dry and spot on. They need to make him an old, burnt out, drunk.....kinda like Max Payne but without the bullet time I just looked it up, Chris Jones is the creator of the series, has always starred as Tex Murphy, and owned the company back in their hayday. And yes he's going to continue in the lead roll in the kickstarted game. |

I think I only ever played the very first one, and never got too far...I'm kinda broke but may still have to see if I can scrounge up $15 for them.
Someone on the Two Guys kickstarter was talking about the Coles (of Quest for Glory fame) doing a KS, but it sounds like it might be a few months away. No way in hell I'd miss that one.

That's good news. I only ever played Under a Killing Moon, and I don't remember it all that well except that the 3D graphics were really impressive for the time and I liked the characters.
Actually, as I recall, I rented it from the video store... back in the FMV days (when most games were crap), but were mostly impossible to pirate because a typical hard drive was smaller than a CD and there were no consumer writers. That lasted about a year. |
