| Seems like this will be a pretty good port. Unfortunately, I have no interest in the game itself. Tries too hard to be "cinematic and visceral" at the expense of genuine strategy and planning. |

Playable with keyboard and mouse, What you're doing wrong there, is mistaking it for a shooter. It's clearly more of a hold-forward-while-things-explode-around-you game visceral experience. Best played with a pad. While comatose. While being intoxicated |

Like the dev from Dayz using it to describe people that thought there were too many zombies when he initially upped the counts. Does he fucking realize his "game" has NO death penalty other than losing gear? (no loss if you have only the starter gear)That sounds pretty fucking carebear to me....there needs to be a cooldown on respawn ability or something.
Life and survival needs to mean something in a game touted as being about survival and life. |

Playable with keyboard and mouse, If they didn't specifically say that it works with keyboard and mouse, what do you think people on here would be asking? |

And technically speaking, playing with a mouse and keyboard is a PC specific feature, since the console world uses gamepads almost exclusively. (I say "almost" because it seems every console since the PS1 has some obscure mouse peripheral.) |

Techie714 © wrote on Jun 6, 2012, 14:42: Looks like a carebear shooter to me.....Bring on ARMA 3! Arma 3 is delayed due to switching out from PhysX 2x to 3x, sucks but the game will be better off for it.
I am not sure this was already discussed in the open somewhere but there is one massive change being done under the hood of Arma 3: migration from PhysX 2.x to PhysX 3..X . This may sound trivial but in reality it is basically switching to completely new physical simulation system with all consequences (a lot of work lost, delay of the entire development schedule). But we decided to make this transition, otherwise Arma 3 would be locked to PhysX 2.x for long time. It was basically now or never for the game...
The transition phase is on-going and neither PhysX 2 nor PX 3 branch are really tuned or polished at the moment.
Also, physical libraries only do part of what is needed and in no way guarantee that everything is going to react as it should: a lot of work on simulation, tweaking, testing, tweaking, AI routines, tweaking, fixing, testing is required with any type of physical simulation and in case of game this complex it really takes a lot of time and effort. post is from BIS CEO himself on the official forums

I'll wait for some user reviews... If you mean the real life movie thing, I did see it. It was okay but I would have watched an actual PC gameplay instead. I've tried the beta on the xbox and the game looked like shit. Not to mention the MP mode in the beta was the Ghost Recon version of CoD run and gun crap. |

It's just a shame that the game still looks like ass and the gameplay and presentation look terrible. How much longer is Ubisoft going to keep rehashing the same shit? LOL! It is becoming UbiSoft's recycled version of COD.
