It wouldn't be so bad if you could lean the seat back without crushing the knees of the person behind you; btw thank you for that person infront of me.

Maybe they should just start stacking people horizontally, load cords of us in with fork lifts, it might actually be more comfortable.

I'd like to read whatever it was that convinced you of this. Because despite my dislike for the on-line requirement, I'm not buying that story without some reasonable evidence/explanation.

I was recently flying back to the east coast from CA, and they bumped me up to the emergency exit aisle, at no cost. I'm used to them charging for these seats now (ridiculous), but I was shocked when I got to my seat and found that there wasn't any extra legroom. On top of that, the seats in the emergency exit aisle didn't recline.

Needless to say, those people around me who had PAID for the privilege of sitting in a seat with no advantages (a few disadvantages, in fact) were less than pleased.

I can sit on a bicycle seat for hours on end in perfect comfort, but the four flights I was on this weekend were all miserable. Any more changes that reduce the comfort of a flight and I'll just stay on the ground.
